The Olympics 'Trilogy'

THE DAY THE OLYMPICS COME TO TOWN

(BBC1, 2010) - Clip 2

This documentary examined what the hugely anticipated 30th Olympiad would feel like for Londoners. How would the city look? Would we be invaded by millions of tourists? Would we be able to get around our city? Would we be able to get tickets to the actual games?

Using CGI and dramatised ‘flash forward’ sequences the programme took us forward to the mid point of the games on Saturday, 4th August 2012 – to get a glimpse of what London might be like when it played host to the 'Greatest Show on Earth'.
