FELA AT THE NT

Went to last performance of Fela at the National Theatre today. It’s the second time I’ve been – and it just got better.

Tour de force performance from Sahr Ngaujah as Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The best thing I’ve seen on the London stage in a year. It’s back in July at Saddlers Wells – might go again!

      Hi Clive
It’s about the life, music and politics of Fela Anikulapo Kuti – a musician/singer from Nigeria.
It’s a musical – and I don’t normally like musicals – that is brilliant. Great music, fabulous choreography and a very interesting central character. Check out the link to the NT.
